40th Annual Awards Program Recognizes the World’s Best Wine Lists
Natchitoches, Louisiana (June 29 2021) —Mariner’s Restaurant has been honored for its outstanding wine program in Wine Spectator’s 2021 Restaurant Awards. The annual program recognizes restaurants around the world as a top destination for wine lovers.
“Ben and I are absolutely over the moon!” says Keri Fidelak owner of Mariner’s Restaurant. “What started out as one of the darkest years in our business history has transformed into a shinning new adventure! We are thrilled to have been included as one of only 1,673 restaurants worldwide to receive such a prestigious award.”
Wine Spectator began its program to recognize the world’s best wine lists in 1981. There are three levels: the Award of Excellence, the Best of Award of Excellence and the Grand Award—with 1,673; 1,141; and 103 winners this year in each respective category.
Mariner’s Restaurant has won the Award of Excellence.
The Award of Excellence recognizes restaurants whose wine lists feature a well-chosen assortment of quality producers along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style.
